Private lesson with one an expert children’s instructors will show you and your child how to play learning games together that each skiing skills and lift riding practices in a safe, fun learning environment. The premise behind the Parent Tot program is to have our children experts teach you and your child how to ski safely together. This can even include the first trips down our Magic Carpet and our Discovery Beginner Chair Lift. We will show you how to train and move your child’s body parts so they learn to move them appropriately on their own, to slow down, turn and stop. We will show you which training aids work well and which do not and how to use them safely. We as instructors have grimaced for years watching un-educated parents towing their children down the hill in an un-safe manner, whilst miss using the latest toddler ski training aid that recently hit the market. We will also cover the safe use of our lift systems and how they relate to small children. The sessions are short just like your little ones attention span, 50 minutes in length. The idea is to introduce your child to skiing in short fun bursts and have them go away wanting to return. If done properly we can help you to create lifelong skiers out of your children. If done poorly many children never return to the mountains or the sport. We look forward to seeing you on the slopes this winter with your whole family including the Tots!
The parent Tot program does not include rental equipment. Kid’s Club only offers rentals for children 4-10. Children between 2-3 years old must have their own equipment.Lesson Time: 9:00am-9:50am and 12:35pm-1:25pm $109

Otters and Mountaineers are separated by color coordinated ability levels so your child will learn and play with other kids who are at the same level. Watch the ‘Welcome to Kid’s Club’ video found in the top right corner of this page to learn more about Kid’s Club along with a detailed description of ability levels.
RED LEVEL are 1st Timers. They cannot come to a stop on their own. They learn in the Adult Beginner area and/or on the Magic Carpet, while learning the basics of balancing and gliding on snow.
YELLOW LEVEL are learning to balance, slow and stop. They take their first rides on the beginner chair lift after mastering the Adult Beginner area and/or the Magic Carpet area.
GREEN LEVEL can turn left, right and make a complete stop. For boarders they can turn both toe and heel edge. They can ride the beginner charlift with confidence and are getting ready to take their first rides on the Chinook Chair lift with the run Tinkerbell in mind.
BLUE LEVEL are starting to explore harder green and easier blue runs. They learn to make advanced turns and explore more diverse terrain. These riders are introduced to a few variations that dramatically improve their ability to negotiate more difficult terrain.
PURPLE LEVEL can make advanced turns, tackle all blue runs and are beginning to explore more adventurous terrain like skiing and riding off the groomed trails and in the bumps. This rider’s focus can also be to master the art of carving turns on the groomed runs.
