Team Freeride Tryouts for Ages 9-10

Crystal Freeride is offering two tryout days for enrollment for riders ages 9-10. If you ride better than your parents, you should take a look at what we have to offer. Parents, the goal of coaching is to train up the next Ingrid Backstrom and Seth Morrison, or at the very least, to turn our riders into rippers who are fundamentally sound and strong all-around skiers and boarders. Don’t let your kids scope the mountain and challenge themselves on their own without a strong understanding of snow safety, how to read conditions, and basic mountain awareness.

DETAILS: The assessment days are Saturday, January 7th, at 10am and Saturday, Janaury 14th, at 10am. Please meet freeride Lead Coach, Wayne Grevey, at the flag poles in the main plaza at 10am sharp. This opportunity is not for every rider.

Those who do not make the team cut may be plugged into the right programs at Crystal to challenge their abilities and get them ready for Crystal Freeride. Riders can be reassessed throughout the year as their skills improve.
