As a valued member of our team you will receive the following privileges:

For all full-time employees (4-5 shifts or 30+ hours weekly):
A season pass to the employee at no charge
A season pass for spouse and dependents aged 25 and under at no charge
Twelve $25 friends and family day-ski vouchers (not to be resold, of course)
Unlimited ski-referral letters for the employee and dependents to enjoy any Alterra Mountain during your off time


For all part-time employees (2-3 shifts or 16-29 hours weekly):
A season pass to the employee at no charge
A $25 season pass for spouse and dependents aged 25 and under
Six $25 friends and family day-ski vouchers (not to be resold, of course)
Up to 15 ski-referral letters for the employee and dependents to enjoy any Alterra Mountain during your off time


And for all ‘occasional schedule’ workers hired to work peak demand periods (minimum 14 days as approved by the manager):
A season pass to the employee at no charge
A $50 season pass for spouse and dependents aged 25 and under
Four $25 friends and family day-ski vouchers (not to be resold, of course)
Up to 5 ski-referral letters for the employee and dependents to enjoy any Alterra Mountain during your time off


All Crystal Mountain employees are required to have direct deposit for their paychecks. Routing and account numbers must be entered during the online on boarding process.
Crystal Mountain is committed to providing work conditions free from the effects of drug and alcohol use. Employees who work under the influence of drugs or alcohol present a safety hazard to themselves, their co-workers and our guests and these actions will not be tolerated. Employees are expected and required to report to work in a suitable mental and physical condition.
Mother Nature has provided us just about everything we could want in a workplace: an amazing mountain surrounded by beauty! The final element needed to make Crystal Mountain the most amazing employment experience ever is to ensure the respectful treatment of all employees and guests. We want our employees to work in an environment free from harassment and hostility of any kind. Remember to be respectful of others and maintain respectful and appropriate workplace conduct.
As members of the Crystal Mountain team, it is your duty to present both a professional and approachable appearance to ensure that our guests have a great experience. Specific standards are outlined in the Employee Handbook. There may be special requirements dictated by the County Health Department or for safety reasons.


On Mountain Employee Housing is limited and assigned to employees based on department and job. All housed employees must be 18 years or older. We offer dormitory style housing (1-4 people per room). A deposit of $300.00 is REQUIRED and can be paid upon arrival or may be taken out of your first two paychecks. You will be required to sign a housing agreement before moving in. Rental fee will be deducted from employee’s paycheck biweekly.
Federal law requires all employees to provide eligibility for employment in the United States. Prior to your first day of employment, an employee must provide & complete the following documentation:

Employee application
W-4-Employee’s Withholding Allowance Certificate
I-9-Employment Eligibility Verification (requires two of the following: Picture ID, social security card, passport, original birth certificate)
Employees under the age of 18 must also fill out Parent/School Authorization form

No person will be employed without the proper documentation!
