Snowsports School Job Opportunities

Crystal Kids Manager
The Crystal Kids Manager is responsible for creating a welcoming first and last impression for our guest and staff.  This is achieved through the focus on quality control, guest relations, sales generation, staff performance development, financial responsibility, communication, teamwork, and self-development. You will have a key role in developing the program structure as Crystal prepares for its new children’s facility. You will be responsible for all lesson content and facility management.

Mountain Sports Teams Manager
The Mountain Sports Teams are a season long multi-session kids & youth ski, snowboard and Freeride Development program. The Mountain Sports Teams mission is to create lifelong skiers and riders while introducing these young athletes to mountain safety and etiquette in a social team oriented environment. The program manager is responsible for all details from registration through season ending wrap-up.

Snowsports School Supervisor
The Snowsports School Supervisor is a member of the Crystal Mountain Snowsports School management team responsible for the overall quality of snowsports products at the resort.  This position will have a daily operational role working directly with the snowsports director and other program managers.

Snowsports School Coordinator
The Snowsports’ School Coordinator will provide administrative support services for the Snowsports School management team, including the oversight of our Flaik Snowsports Software. Coordinate all instructor hiring, season pass applications. Work closely with Managers and on-snow Supervisors on operational details, payroll, instructor scheduling, resolve any guest facing issues.

Uncertified & Certified Ski or Snowboard Instructors
Full Time and Part Time positions available for uncertified Children’s and Adult instructor for the 2017/2018 Winter Season. The Instructor will provide quality ski/snowboard instruction to groups and individuals in a safe and fun environment. The highest wages paid in the Pacific Northwest, season ending bonus, paid training, free in-house continuing education training, 7, 15 & 21 day Part Time commitments available.

Multimedia Intern – Marketing

Want to gain experience in the outdoor industry this winter and earn credits while you’re at it? We are hiring a multimedia intern for the winter of 2017-18 to join our team! Employee Appearance & Conduct

The impression that you make on our guests is a very important and integral part of our ongoing success. Remember, you may be the first contact that a guest has with our ski area, therefore, we want to make sure that it is a good and lasting impression. We do require that all employees maintain a clean, well groomed appearance and conduct themselves in a reasonable and considerate manner while on duty. Some departments require specific clothing or uniforms, part or all of which will be supplied by Crystal Mountain.

Identification

Federal law requires all employees to provide eligibility for employment in the United States. Prior to your first day of employment, an employee must provide & complete the following documentation:
Employee application
W-4-Employee’s Withholding Allowance Certificate
I-9-Employment Eligibility Verification (requires two of the following: Picture ID, social security card, passport, original birth certificate)
Employees under the age of 18 must also fill out Parent/School Authorization form

No person will be employed without the proper documentation!

Direct Deposit

All Crystal Mountain employees are required to have direct deposit for their paychecks. Routing and account numbers must be entered during the online onboarding process.

Housing

On Mountain Employee Housing is limited and assigned to employees based on department and job. All housed employees must be 18 years or older. We offer dormitory style housing (1-4 people per room). A deposit of $300.00 is REQUIRED and can be paid upon arrival or may be taken out of your first two paychecks. You will be required to sign a housing agreement before moving in. Rental fee will be deducted from employee’s paycheck biweekly.

Drug & Alcohol Policy

Crystal Mountain is committed to providing work conditions free from the effects of drug and alcohol use. Employees who work under the influence of drugs or alcohol present a safety hazard to themselves, their co-workers and our guests and these actions will not be tolerated. Employees are expected and required to report to work in a suitable mental and physical condition.

Employee Grooming Policy

As members of the Crystal Mountain team, it is your duty to present both a professional and approachable appearance to ensure that our guests have a great experience. Specific standards are outlined in the Employee Handbook. There may be special requirements dictated by the County Health Department or for safety reasons.
