Three weekends are available, with opportunities for a wide range of ages and ability levels. While participants don’t need to have experience with competitive Freeride skiing, they should be comfortable with skiing expert terrain as well as the occasional short hike. The camps will cover safety and equipment norms for Freeride, how to visually inspect a run and choose an appropriate line, techniques for powder and variable snow in steep terrain, jumping (and landing) on natural terrain features, and the basics of putting together a winning competition run.
Developed for Women, by Women at the Crystal Mountain Snowsports School. Don’t just ski with the boys – ski past them! Our Snowsports School has designed several Women’s Programs. Choose from Babes in the Bumps, Women & Wine, and Women’s Turns.
