December 1, 2021

We are all eager to get this season started. Although we have been challenged with natural snowfall, our snowmaking teams have been hard at work generating enough man made to get us open even with the temperatures as they are.

This weekend, December 4-5, we will open with extremely limited operations to support the start of our youngest Ski & Ride School multi-week lessons on Saturday from 9:30-2:30. As these are children as young as four, we are limiting morning operations only for these lesson groups.

Starting at 2:00pm on Saturday we will be welcoming all other valid pass holders to ski and ride under the lights until 6:00pm. All valid pass holders are welcome on Sunday from 9am-4pm.

Even though it’s not the powder and full mountain coverage we are all waiting for, you will be skiing and riding with early-season machine-made snow covering a limited path down Quicksilver into the Discovery Meadow, and Broadway to Tinkerbell. But if you are craving fresh mountain air, we will have scenic gondola rides along with indoor and outdoor dining. Plus, you can get some holiday shopping done at Right Angle Sports and our new Crystal Peaks Logo Shop. The Crystal Edge Tune Shop will also be open for pre-season tunes and repairs, along with our Brand X Equipment shop offering ski and snowboard rentals.
