Competition Team
$2349- 10 days of training (Saturday or Sunday) + up to 3 days of midweek competitions for a total of 13 days.
Coaches will be assigned to accompany athletes to the three competitions that parents sign their athletes up for. Only IFSA competitions are included in the price and must take place within the Pacific Northwest. This includes all of Washington State, Oregon State and Schweitzer, Idaho. Competitions outside of the PNW must be arranged in advance and will include an additional cost.

The Competition Team is a unique program dedicated to high level competition skiing and riding. Athletes will be coached over the ten-week program with an eye to IFSA scoring guidelines such as line, control, fluidity/flow, technique and style/energy. Athletes will build their confidence and skiing/riding ability at some of the most challenging mountains in the Pacific Northwest. The program includes auxiliary online learning and analysis enabling athletes to reach their full potential. From training days at Crystal to events hosted by other resorts, this program provides an emphasis on team mentality alongside progression. The target number of IFSA competitions for each athlete is three per season. However, more competitions may be added at an additional cost. Athletes will travel with parents to competitions and must be registered IFSA members. The program is designed to utilize the expansive and challenging terrain along with the world-class coaches we have here at Crystal Mountain to both showcase and develop athletes talent. This is the program for the next generation of competitive Crystal athletes.
Note: It is the parent’s responsibility to sign up their athlete(s) for any given competition. We will support that process with emails and guidelines as to when these registrations go live. IFSA has changed its registration protocols and even if we are an event organizer, we do not get any advantages for our athletes in the sign-up process. In addition, every attempt will be made to provide coaches that accompany the athletes to the competitions that match the coaches that they have been training with, but this may not always be possible. Parents will be responsible for driving their athletes to competitions. Coaches will travel separately and meet their athletes there.
Additional Information:
- Athletes and coaches are together for ten sessions plus competitions.
- Athletes will be coached under the IFSA guidelines on the day of their competitions.
- Participants will develop an understanding of snow safety and conditions.
- Like other multi-week products, this includes the lesson component only. Lift access and equipment rentals are purchased separately.
- Lunch is not included in this program
