Rainier wedding platform include a scenic and memorable ride on the Mt. Rainier gondola for your guests! If you are planning a wedding for 50 – 400 people then consider Crystal Mountain Resort, located just 6 miles from the northeast entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park. Surround yourself with lush forests, colorful wildflowers and gorgeous alpine scenery. Combine that with on-mountain accommodations, fine Northwest catering, and a multitude of free-time activities and you have the recipe for an unforgettable celebration.
Mt. Rainier Platform
Say “I do” at 6,872’ with Mt. Rainier as your witness. You and up to 200 guests will enjoy a scenic gondola ride up to the mountain-top ceremony platform along with breathtaking views of Mt. Baker, Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Adams and Mt. Rainier prominently set as your backdrop. If the elevation doesn’t take your breath away, the views certainly will!

Maximum occupancy: 200 seated guests
This rustic mountain ceremony or reception venue, at the top level of our base area lodge, boasts high vaulted ceilings, heavy timber beams and floor to ceiling window backdrops with far and wide views of the resort. In the vaulted ceilings, you will find an old ski lift seat, from a now retired Crystal lift, as well as a gondola cabin from our sister resort, Big Sky in Montana.

Bullwheel maximum occupancy (without dance floor, buffet line, dj area, cake table etc): 175
This indoor ceremony or reception venue, located in the middle section of our base area lodge, has an antique ski collection adorning the walls and is our largest indoor space. Enjoy expansive views of our resort meadow and towering peaks from the large picture windows.

Maximum occupancy (without dance floor, buffet line, dj area, cake table etc): 310
Sundeck or East Peak Plaza
These scenic open-aired ceremony or reception venues, located near the base of the Mt. Rainier Gondola, offer endless views of East Peak, Gold Hills, meadows of tall mountain grasses and seasonal wild flowers, as well as the Mt. Rainier Gondola line. Our Fireside Cafe is located on the Sundeck and offers the perfect service area for drinks and nibbles. The East Peak Plaza is our largest outdoor venue, seating up to 300 guests. New for 2017: Large event umbrella expands to cover most of the Sundeck, when needed.
