Crystal Mountain Bullion Basin
Crystal Mountain Volunteer Ski Patrol is now accepting applications for all disciplines, Alpine Patrol, Mountain Host and Safety Patrol.


Minimum requirements:
  • You must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills and have an aptitude for dealing with the public.
  • Alpine Patrol candidates must be Expert level Alpine Skier or Snowboarder able to ski/ride safely and in control anywhere on the mountain in any snow conditions.
  • Mountain Host candidates must be Advanced Skier/Snowboarder, comfortable on Black Diamond runs within the Crystal Mountain lift serviced terrain
  • Safety Patrol candidates should have Upper Intermediate skills and be comfortable on Blue Square and some Black Diamond terrain

If accepted, you will begin a training program to prepare you for a spot on the patrol.

SKI PATROL YOUTH PROGRAM (SPY)

SPY Program Minimum Requirements:

  • You must be 16-20 years of age.
  • Must be an Advanced/Expert level Alpine Skier or Snowboarder able to ski/ride safely and in control anywhere on the mountain.

Time Commitment:

  • Attend Ski Test in mid-December
  • Ability to obtain AHA CPR/First Aid training before the start of the program
  • Attend a designated 4 weekends, both Saturday and Sunday, spread from January through March (no make-up dates will be available)
