At Crystal Mountain, we’re excited to welcome 29029 Everesting to the mountain for the first time in 2026. More than a race, 29029 is a transformative endurance experience where participants spend 36 hours hiking repeated ascents in pursuit of Everest’s 29,029 vertical feet. With gondola rides down, elite coaching, recovery support, and an immersive participant village, the event is designed to challenge individuals physically, mentally and emotionally while building a powerful sense of community.
Set against the backdrop of Mount Rainier National Park, Crystal Mountain offers the ideal environment for this challenge: a 2,400-foot climb through alpine forest and wildflower meadows to panoramic summit views of the Cascade Range. Participants will stay together in a glamping village at the base of the mountain, creating a shared experience that extends far beyond the trail.
