Headliner: City of Pines

Band Bio:
Blending folk, indie rock, and a storyteller’s heart, City of Pines’ songs echo the tension between motion and stillness. The songs are smooth with just enough punch, centered on storytelling. Think layered guitars, raw vocals, and lyrics that wrestle with freedom, grief, and the quiet work of becoming. We’re not chasing fame—we’re chasing truth and a sound that feels like home for those who aren’t afraid to venture off the beaten path.
Launched in 2017 by frontman and songwriter Nick Clack, City of Pines began as a way to process life’s in-between seasons. The songs started on solo hikes, introspective international travels, and road trips across the west —now they’ve found their way onto stages across the PNW and into the hands of listeners who crave something honest.

Event Info:
The Mountain Music Series (free outdoor concerts with local artists and open space for all) is coming to the Crystal Mountain Summit Patio every Sunday afternoon in August! Enjoy the sights and sounds of summer at Crystal while sipping brews and taking in the views.
Presented by Elysian Brewing Company, these live music events are free for the whole family (dogs included) and will feature some of our favorite Seattle area performers. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and the kids for a festive afternoon in the fresh mountain air.
Please note: gondola access is not included in the event. You can purchase your gondola ticket for the Mount Rainier Scenic Gondola with the booking bar at the bottom of this page.
This is a free event, and no tickets are required to view concerts. All concerts take place on the Summit House Patio located at the summit of Crystal Mountain Resort.
