Crystal Mountain Names New Resort President
Crystal Mountain Ski Resort announces that Linnea Hansen has been named the new President and Chief Operating Officer of Washington's Crystal Mountain, effective immediately. Hansen will report to Alterra Mountain Company Regional Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President Mountain Division, Western, Ron Cohen. She will be responsible for overseeing all operations, enhancing both the employee and guest experience, continuing to build and strengthen community relationships, and driving profitability of the destination.
With more than two decades of leadership experience across hospitality, consumer brands, global marketing, and operations, Hansen brings a well-rounded perspective and a proven ability to guide organizations through growth and change, all while maintaining a strong focus on the guest and employee experience. At Crystal Mountain, she has been a key member of the Senior Leadership Team and has increased focus on building community engagement and relationships, prioritized the consumer and guest experience, strengthened employee engagement, guided cross-functional projects across the resort, and partnered with Alterra Mountain Company on shared initiatives.

Background
Before joining Crystal Mountain, Hansen held senior leadership roles at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates based in Woodinville, WA, where she guided brand strategy and communications for a broad portfolio and led organization-wide initiatives for 11 years. Earlier in her career, she served in global marketing and customer experience roles at Philips Healthcare, supporting growth across international markets.
A lifelong Washington resident, Hansen remains actively involved in regional community and industry organizations, including the Visit Rainier Tourism Board and the Enumclaw Chamber of Commerce. She holds an MBA from the University of Washington's Foster School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Washington. Although Hansen proudly represents the University of Washington Huskies, her husband is a devoted Washington State University Cougar, meaning "GO DAWGS" and "GO COUGS" both follow the Hansen family wherever they go.
