How Does the Demo Pass Work?
Your Demo Pass gives you unlimited access to Brand X demo equipment throughout the regular season. Choose from equipment for freeride, freestyle, on-piste, all-mountain, powder, and more.
Check out as many demo sets as you like and swap models throughout the day as conditions or what you want to ride changes. Every setup is tuned and ready, and our demo techs can help with fit, setup, and gear selection.
All demo equipment must be returned each evening.

When Is the Demo Pass Valid?
New 2026/27 gear will be available as soon as conditions allow, typically between December 1 and 15. If you want to gear up earlier, we can outfit you with remaining inventory from prior seasons.Your Demo Pass is valid through the end of the regular season, though selection may be limited in spring.
We begin selling new demos to the public on March 19th, with Demo Pass holders receiving first access on March 5th.

What Brands Will You Carry In Your Demo Fleet?
The 26/27 Demo fleet includes skis from 16 brands and snowboards from 11 brands, with options for all-mountain, freeride, freestyle, on-piste, powder, and more.
Ski Brands:
4FRNT, Armada, Atomic, Black Crows, Blizzard, Elan, Faction, K2, Lib Tech, Line, Moment, Nordica, Rossignol, Salomon, Stöckli, and Völkl.
Ski Bindings:
Marker, Look, and Atomic. Bindings are not MNC-compatible.
Ski Boots:
Men’s: K2 Recon 120 BOA, plus a smaller selection of Rossignol boots.
Women’s: K2 Anthem 105 BOA, plus a smaller selection of Rossignol boots.
Snowboard Brands:

Do I Need to Book In Advance? Can I Request a Setup?
No appointment is required. Bring your Demo Pass when you arrive and we’ll get you set up.
If you have a specific model and size in mind, email CMRentals@skicrystal.com with your top one to three choices 24 to 72 hours before your visit.
We’ll do our best to have your preferred equipment available, but specific models and sizes cannot be guaranteed and remain subject to availability.

Do I Get a Physical Pass?
Yes. After purchasing your Rental or Demo Pass, stop by the shop and ask for your pass media, which we can print for you at Tech Bench 9.
Simply show up, scan your pass, and get your gear. No need to book in advance.

Can I Take Demo Gear on a Trip?
Yes. With prior approval from a demo tech, Demo Pass holders can take demo equipment on a trip for up to seven days total during the season.

Why Is Accurate Skier or Rider Information Important?
For your safety and the safety of our equipment, you must provide an accurate birthdate, height, weight, skier type, and boot sole length.
Am I Responsible If Something Happens to the Gear I Check Out?
Renters are responsible for the condition of any gear they check out. If equipment is lost, stolen, broken, or damaged beyond repair, the pass holder must pay the full purchase price. Please watch for low-snow conditions, closed areas, and on-hill obstructions that can damage gear. Treat our equipment as you would your own.
