What to Do
Begin your day with a ride on the Mt. Rainier Gondola, which takes you more than 2,400 vertical feet to the summit, where you'll find expansive views of Mount Rainier and the beautiful Cascade Range.

While you're on the mountain, enjoy a meal at the Summit House, Washington's highest-elevation restaurant, or explore other activities like the Flying Raven Adventure Course, the rock climbing wall, guided hikes, disc golf, the mining sluice, and more.

View more summer activities.

Join one of our free guided interpretive walks around the Summit Ridgeline to learn about local flora and fauna, wildlife, geology, and more. Walk the three-quarter-mile loop with one of our guides and discover fascinating facts about the Pacific Northwest.

Tours begin at 11 a.m., 12 p.m., and 3 p.m. and last approximately one hour. Sign up with one of our guides at the top of the gondola. No pre-registration required.
