The galaxy’s most outrageous springtime tradition is back. Across the snowy expanse of Crystal Mountain, brave spring skiers and riders will unite to defy the cold and embrace the sunshine in a race like no other.
Armed with board shorts, bikinis, and unstoppable spirits, these fearless participants will bring the warmth of the beach to the frozen slopes, all for the sake of silly shenanigans and raising funds for the Crystal Mountain Fire Department.
Whether you race or cheer from the sidelines, this legendary celebration is a tropical odyssey for everybody. All proceeds benefit the Crystal Mountain Fire Department.

Schedule:
- 8:30 – 10:00 a.m.: Registration in Rafters (all competitors must check in at registration)
- 2:00 p.m.: Race Time on Gold Hills
- 3:00 p.m.: Awards & Live Music
Categories:
Style (10 points max)
- This category assesses the racer’s overall appearance, flair, and creativity prior to and during the race.
- Creativity: How unique and fun the swimwear and accessories are.
- Confidence: The energy and charisma the racer displays as they sport the attire on the hill.
- Smoothness: How stylishly they navigate the course, including moves like spins or jumps.
Speed (10 points max)
- Fastest Time – 1st Place: 10 points
- 2nd Place: 7 points
- 3rd Place: 5 points
- 4th Place: 3 points
Volume of Liquid in Stein (10 points max)
- 75%+ Volume: 10 points
- 50%+ Volume: 6 points
- 25%+ Volume: 4 points
- Empty Steins: 2 points
- Lost Stein: 0 points
Scoring Example:
- Style: 10 points (Awesome outfit, super confident, very creative)
- Speed: 7 points (Came in 2nd place)
- Volume of Liquid in Stein: 4 points (About 40 percent remained)
Other Fun Race Rules:
- All racers must complete the event waiver.
- All racers must wear swimwear with the assigned racer number visible on the left arm and leg.
- Racers must pass through all marked gates on the course. Missing a gate results in disqualification.
- No physical contact with other participants is allowed.
- Category winners are determined by the highest combined score across style, speed, and stein volume.
Proceeds benefit the Crystal Mountain Fire Department.
